Numerical Simulation of LFC(Lost Foam Casting) Bead-filling Process with Different Numbers of Outlet
The Euler-Lagrange equation for LFC bead filling process was established
and flow dynamical behavior of dense gas-solid phase fluid during foam bead filling process in LFC(lost foam casting) was simulated by numerical simulation method.Movement of foam bead is closely related to the distribution of gas pressure.Pressure difference between inner and outer of the cavity at around outlets during foam bead filling process provides the driven force.At the other given conditions
filling process of three kinds of exhausting conditions was simulated.The simulated results reveal that filling process exhibits the most duration time at un-smoothly exhaustion
easily resulting in the non-dense filling behavior at high pressure zone in the cavity.
