Aging Behavior and Electric Conductivity of a New Heat Resistant Al-0.2Sc-0.04Zr(0.01B) Alloy
Aging behavior and electric conductivity of the heat resistant Al-0.2Sc-0.04Zr(0.01B) alloy were investigated. The results show that the optimal aging condition of the heat resistant Al-0.2Sc-0.04Zr(0.01B) alloy is 330 ℃ for 189 min.Hot extrusion can greatly improve the elongation
however its effects on the maximum strength of the alloys can be ignored. The B addition can decrease the electric resistance of homogenized alloys at low temperature with the slight decrease of maximum strength aged at 300

80 ℃.In all
the hot-extruded Al-0.2Sc-0.04Zr alloy exhibits the optimized mechanical properties and conductivity. The tensile strength reaches up to 160 MPa
