Effects of Power Ultrasonic on Microstructure and Wear Resistance of ZA27 Alloy
Commercial ZA27 alloy was treated by ultrasonic vibration treatment at 500 ℃.The results show that microstructure of ultrasonic treated ZA27 alloy is composed of uniform and fine equiaxed grain. With increasing in power
average grain size is decreased from 70μm to 40μm
and weight loss is decreased from 5.6 mg to 1.3 mg.Acoustic stream effects and cavitation effects can greatly refine the microstructure of ZA27 alloy
and make η+β phase to uniformly distribute along α grain boundary.Meanwhile
wear resistance of the ZA27 alloy can be improved obviously by power ultrasonic treatment. The optimized treating power is 1 500 W.
