mold temperature and pouring temperature on porosity
oxidation tendency
cold-shut and shrinkage porosity in the Mg subframe castings were investigated by using AnyCasting software and orthogonal test method.The optimized die casting process parameters were presented as follows:injection rate of 7 m/s
mold temperature of 250℃
pouring temperature of 700℃.Under these process parameters
Mg subframe castings with sound surface and internal quality were produced by die casting process
and the effectiveness of optimizing the casting process parameters by simulation was also verified.
