Zhu Yutao. Effects of Mg Content on Bendability of 6016 Alloys[J]. Special Casting & Nonferrous Alloys, 2020,40(12):1334-1338. DOI: 10.15980/j.tzzz.2020.12.005.
The relationship between microstructures and bendability of two kinds of 6016 aluminum alloy sheets with different Mg contents was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)
transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and electron back scattered diffraction(EBSD). The results indicate that the bendability is dependent of precipitation free zone(PFZ) and texture. The further analysis reveals that the Mg contents affect distribution of phases and proportion of textures
which is a key factor influencing bendability of 6016 aluminum alloy.
