A survey of 6 papers concerning nonferrous casting read out on the "62nd World Foundry Congress" was provided. The authers of "Transferred Pressure and Casting Qualities of Aluminum Die Casting" presented a new method of measuring transferred pressure on metal in a die cavity of aluminum high pressure die casting. The effects of transferred pressure and flow velocity on the qualities of conventional aluminum die casting are also clarified. This paper is awarded of Grand Prize in the congress.
