    • Process Design and Optimization of Ultra-large Integrated Die-casting Flooring

    • In the field of automobile manufacturing, experts have analyzed the effects of different pouring system design schemes on aluminum liquid temperature, filling speed, solid fraction, and casting pressure based on Magma software. It is predicted that the floor is prone to defects at the edge of the wheel cover and the position of the end crossbeam. The C611 heat free treatment material and a 120000 kN large die-casting machine were used for the physical die-casting of the rear floor. Through X-ray inspection and tensile testing, the internal quality and performance of the castings were analyzed. It was found that the sampling performance of the castings met the requirements of tensile strength ≥ 215 MPa, yield strength ≥ 115 MPa, and elongation ≥ 6%. This provides a solution for optimizing the die-casting process of automotive rear floor.
