In-situ Synthesis of NbC Steel-bonded Cemented Carbide by Microwave Sintering
- “In the field of hard alloy preparation, researchers used mechanical alloying microwave sintering technology to synthesize NbC in situ, and prepared NbC steel bonded hard alloys with excellent properties. When ball milled for 20 hours, heated at a rate of 15 ℃/min, sintered at 1400 ℃, and held for 60 minutes, the alloy exhibited the best comprehensive performance, with a density of 7.275g/cm3, hardness of 480.9HV, and flexural strength of 319.532MPa.”
