Effects of Heat Treatment Duration on Microstructure and Properties of CuSn20P1 Alloy
- “In the field of materials science, researchers used a melt constrained induced nucleation device to prepare semi-solid CuSn20P1 alloy slurry, and used extrusion forming to prepare high volume fraction eutectic phase castings. The effects of heat treatment time on the composition, microstructure, and properties of the castings were studied. The results indicate that short-term heat treatment is beneficial for increasing the content of eutectic phase, improving intergranular segregation and enhancing alloy properties in CuSn20P1 alloy.”
