Abstract

In this paper the present situation of magnesium resources in our country and the application potential of magnesium alloy structural parts have been reviewed. The existed problems for a vast scope application of magnesium alloys have been analysis. A semi-solid rheo-diecasting method and a solid-state process for fabrication of magnesium alloy parts have been proposed. Their main advantages and application scopes have also been discussed.
