Based on the sample aeroplane wheel made in former soviet union

a new casting magnesium alloy containing Nd

Zr elements with heat resistance and high strength was developed. Through measuring mechanical property

casting and welding characteristics

the result shown that the alloy performances reached or surpassed МЛ10 alloy in the former soviet union specification.
