Abstract

Numerical simulation of shooting sand process was conducted using two fluid model to describe the shooting sand process based on newly developed two phase flow theory. The airflow and the sand flow were taken as continuous flow body for study object in mathematical pattern. In addition

the whole shooting sand process has been recorded with a high speed digital camera. The calculation results of flow process are in coincidence with the test results.
