The brief developing history on Magnesium alloy casting in our country is reviewed and the technological characteristics of the castings are elaborated in this paper. As a great nation in resources

we should made deeply researched in smelting and burn protection of magnesium alloys in order to improve the quality of the alloys and to produce high degree castings. And to develop uses of the alloys.
