Semi-solid forming of hypoeutectic high chromium cast iron was prepared by self-made slope plate
through observing appearance of pro-eutectic austenite in one hundred and four hundred millimeter flute radius
and the changing characteristics of the average shape factor and average equivalent diameter and solid rate of pro-eutectic austenite were quantitatively Analyzed Leica image analyzer
discussing the formation influence of pro-eutectic austenite in different flute radius of slope plate.The result indicated that the roundness of four hundred millimeter flute radius is obviously enhanced
and the average shape factor of austenite increased
average equivalent diameter minished
solid rate increased a little
than one hundred millimeter flute radius
obtaining perfect semi-solid structure of hypoeutectic high chromium cast iron.
