基于Flow-3D的ES6W水泵壳体压铸工艺设计及优化

摘要:根据水泵壳体的结构特点和品质要求,设计了水泵壳体压铸工艺方案。利用Flow-3D软件对初始工艺方案的充型及凝固过程进行数值模拟,分析了初始工艺方案产生缺陷的部位和原因。针对这些问题,采取了扩大内浇口和在缺陷严重的部位添加溢流槽的方法,设计出了优化方案。模拟结果显示,优化后的工艺使铸件上的卷气显著减少,提高了铸件品质,满足了使用要求。

Abstract:According to the structural characteristics and quality requirments of the pump shell, the design of die casting process for the pump shell was carried out. The numerical simulation of the filling and solidification process of the initial design was carried out by using Flow3D software, and the position and cause of the shrinkage defects were analyzed. Aiming at these problems, the method of enlarging the ingate and adding the overflow slot at the defective position was adopted, and the optimization scheme was designed. The simulation results show that the optimized process can reduce significantly the entrappedgas in the castings and improve the casting quality to meet the requirements.
