    • Resistance Butt Welding Process and Properties of Aluminum Alloy and Low Carbon Steel

    • In the field of materials science, researchers have successfully welded Q235 low carbon steel and 6061 aluminum alloy bars using the UN-100 AC resistance welding equipment. By optimizing the process parameters through orthogonal experiments, it was found that the conical end face, argon gas protection, and the addition of zinc as a transition layer can significantly improve the performance of the welded joint, with a tensile strength of up to 172 MPa.
