    • Microstructure and Properties of Novel Ti-Nb-Co-Cr-Al Series Alloy with High Strength and Toughness

    • In the fields of aviation, aerospace, and navigation, the composition, microstructure, and properties of Ti Nb Co Cr Al titanium alloys were studied to meet the demand for high-strength and high plasticity cast titanium alloys in major equipment. By reasonably matching the content of Nb, Co, Cr, and Al elements, a new high-strength and high plasticity cast β - titanium alloy Ti-23Nb-6.7Co-5Cr-4Al was optimized and designed. Its room temperature tensile strength under as cast conditions reached 1097 ± 8 MPa, and the elongation rate reached 19% ± 2%, demonstrating excellent strength plasticity matching.
